The PUMA Fast-R NITRO Series has a distinctive look, with bags of technology and design, all aimed at getting you to the finish line faster and more efficiently than ever before. The separated heel section is made from EVA, firmer than the forefoot foam, it offers a more stable landing, and quickly moves you through your stride, pushing you onto the more energetic forefoot foam in moments. Through the midfoot the visible carbon PWRPLATE links the two sections of foam. Offering a springy feel and improved running efficiency, it also stabilises your foot as you move through your stride. In the forefoot NITRO elite foam offers an incredible level of responsiveness and energy return, driving you forwards with an extra bounce for a lively, fun feel. The upper utilises a sock like fit, with midfoot lockdown, and PWRTAPE providing improved lockdown fit for minimal additional weight. The outsole uses PUMAs lightest outsole material PUMAGRIP-LT, for high traction and race day performance.
