Inspired by Nike’s legendary Secret Tournament ad from 2002, this special-edition Vapor adds extra sting to your attacks with scorpion tail graphics on the upper and soleplate.
Stripped back for extreme quickness, the Vapor XVII is Nike’s lightest Mercurial ever, designed to excel in tight spaces where every half-step counts.
The featherweight upper uses Atomknit throughout, with the thin yet stretch-resistant material providing an almost barefoot feel while retaining its structure. At the heel, a reengineered setup puts microfibre cushioning in all the right places for close-fit comfort. Then at the ankle, the low-cut Flyknit collar is snugger than ever. Straight from the first wear, you get that distinctive Vapor combo of lightness and lockdown, ready to dribble defenders into submission with impossibly fast moves.
It’s true multidirectional speed, courtesy of the new Flylite soleplate and its cleverly rounded versions of the Merc’s trademark chevron studs.
