Designed for stride-style runners, the ASICS Unisex Metaspeed Sky+ in Hazard Green/Sky offers carbon plated efficiency and longer strides to let you conserve energy for the end of your race.
The ASICS Unisex Metaspeed Sky+ has moved the carbon plate closer to the foot from the original version, this allows for more compression of the midsole foam, and a softer feel on landing, letting you hit your stride with a touch more comfort.They have also managed to squeeze 4% more volume of foam underfoot, for only a 6g weight change, that’s the weight of a postcard! The FF Turbo foam used offers 13% more bounce and is 33% lighter than standard FF Blast, giving you massive amounts of energy return in an incredibly lightweight package.
The Carbon plate features a slightly less curved form in this iteration, giving a faster rebound, and requiring less energy to bend it on landing.
A new motion wrap upper is made from a lightweight woven jacquard mesh, it offers optimised reinforcement for a solid feel, and even the laces have been updated, with shorter serrated laces providing a secure lockdown.
