The Duo edition features the AdaptiveFlex 2.0 closure system, an evolution that combines the best elements of strapped and strapless designs. The elastic bandage underneath ensures flexibility around the wrist, then the top layer wraps around for stability and support. Essentially, the glove becomes the strap, neatly securing the fit while retaining an integrated, fuss-free feel. For improved performance, the angled cut of the AdaptiveFlex cuff allows extended latex coverage on the palm, offering even more grip when catching and handling. Further wraps on the thumb and outer side of the hand amplify the effect. The gloves also feature the latest Duo technology, offering ultimate control thanks to additional latex on the inside of the palm. The three-dimensional latex dots provide a direct connection to the hand, increasing tactility and feel of the ball while also preventing slippage within the glove. Where previous generations of Duo featured an entire layer of latex on the inner side of the palm, the latest version instead has a pattern of spaced-out dots, improving flexibility and comfort during play. The latex itself is based on Reusch-Grip Gold, offering a combination of grip and durability. On the backhand, Reusch's PerformSkin material sandwiches a 2mm layer of foam between two layers of recycled polyester for increased breathability and a more anatomical shape around the hand.
